The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core processor and 8GB RAM. The 128GB internal storage is expandable via a microSD card (up to 512GB).

In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy A71 sports a quad-camera setup on the back. It combines a 64MP primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture) with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.2), a 5MP depth sensor (f/2.2), and a 5MP macro lens (f/2.4).

For selfies and video calling, the new handset sports a 32MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture. The 4,500mAh battery supports 25W fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy A71 runs the Android 10 operating system with One UI 2.0 on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C port.

The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio.

The Samsung Galaxy A71 also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It comes in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Silver, and Prism Crush Blue color options.

Additionally, the Indian version includes a few features specifically for local users. It includes visual cards that are integrated within the text messaging app and can be in the form of reminders and offers.

The new handset also includes multilingual typing to support local languages. A Smart Crop feature lets users save, share, or edit a screenshot with a single tap.

Whereas a quick discovery feature called ‘Finder’ lets users search for content across entertainment, e-commerce, food, and travel domains available within apps installed on the smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy A71 also comes with a Samsung Pay integration (to enable easy payments) and Samsung Knox (for enhanced security).

Samsung also launched the Galaxy A51 in Vietnam at VND 7,990,000 (approx Rs 24,500) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The quad rear camera setup uses a 48MP primary sensor (f/2.0 aperture), 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.0), a 5MP macro lens (f/2.4) and a 5MP depth sensor (f/2.2).

Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy A51 is backed by a 4,000mAh battery that comes with 15W fast charging support.
