The Samsung XCover Pro is priced at EUR 499 (approx Rs 39,600). Sales will start in Finland on January 31.

The rugged phone comes in a single Black color option. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 9611 octa-core processor and 4GB RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card.

In terms of optics, the rugged phone sports a dual-camera setup on the back. It combines a 25MP primary sensor with an 8MP autofocus secondary sensor.

For selfies and video calling, the Galaxy XCover Pro sports a 13MP front camera. The 4,050mAh removable battery comes with 15W fast charging support.

The new handset runs the Android 9 Pie operating system. It supports mPOS for payments and barcode scanners.

The rugged phone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Other sensors on the device include accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro features a 6.3-inch TFT display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution with a display hole. It comes with a wet touch and glove mode to enhance screen sensitivity.

The rugged phone comes with MIL-STD-810G military standards and IP68 certification. It measures 165.2 x 76.5 x 9.94mm and weighs 217 grams.

The rear panel sports a textured finish. There are also two additional programmable buttons (apart from the volume and power buttons).
