Gionee launched another feature packed Android smartphone in India today with a rather odd name, the CTRL V4S (we are still figuring out the correct pronunciation). The device comes with a focus on build quality and offers mid range specifications at a reasonable price. Read on to find out the complete specifications and pricing details.

The device goes through ION plating and laser carving process to offer great build quality. It also comes with a slim profile (7.8 mm thickness) which makes it easy to handle and use. Another highlighted feature called ‘HotKnot’ allows two phones to exchange data by sticking their screens to each other. It’s just a marketing gimmick as there are hundreds of Apps available on the Play Store that can accomplish the same task quite effortlessly.
Pricing and Availability
The Gionee CTRL V4S is priced at Rs. 9,999 and is listed at Gionee’s E-Store for purchase.
The Gionee CTRL V4S offers no unique feature to the consumer and that’s completely okay in this price range. One prime example is the 2nd Generation Moto G from Motorola. The device offers a bigger, higher resolution display, more processing power, stereo speakers, robust build quality and a promising software upgrade cycle for Rs. 13,000. Other low price options include Xiaomi RedMi 1S but it is very hard to get one due to rather peculiar sales model adopted by Xiaomi.
