As expected, Google has announced the launch of LG made Google Nexus 5X smartphone alongside Nexus 6P in India.
Under the hood, the Nexus 5X is powered by a 64-bit hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor paired with Adreno 418 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, it features a 5.2-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution, 424ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection against scratches. Based on storage, it comes in two variants- 16GB and 32GB.
On photography front, it sports a 12.3 mega pixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, laser assisted auto-focus, f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording and slow motion video recording at 120fps. There is also a 5 mega pixel frotn facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. Backed up by a 2700mAh battery, it measures 147.0 x 72.6 x 7.9 mm in dimensions and weighs 136 grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and USB Type-C port. The device also flaunts its fingerprint sensor. It will be available in Charcoal (Black), Quartz (White) and Ice Blue (Mint) color options.

The Google Nexus 5X is priced at Rs. 31,990 for 16GB variant and Rs. 35,990 for 32GB variant. It will go on sale starting October 21, 2015 while pre-orders will open today at 2PM. It will be exclusive to Amazon India and can also be purchased via offline retailers such as Sangeetha Mobiles, Reliance digital, The Mobile Store and Croma among others. It will come with Bluetooth headset worth Rs. 2,500 for free; free screen replacement worth Rs. 6,500; and cash back worth Rs. 3500 on HDFC credit cards.
