The Honor Play 9A is priced at CNY 899 (approx Rs 9,500) for the 64GB storage variant. The 128GB storage model comes with a price tag of CNY 1,199 (approx Rs 12,700).
Shipping will start in China on April 7. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor and 4GB RAM. The 64GB/ 128GB storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card (up to 512GB).
In terms of optics, the Honor Play 9A sports a dual camera set up on the back. It combines a 13MP primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture) with a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4).
For selfies and video calling, the handset sports an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that is said to last up to three days.

The Honor Play 9A runs the Android 10 OS with Magic UI 3.0.1 on top. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/AGPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB port.
The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 6.3-inch display with HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) resolution, waterdrop notch, and a pixel density of 278ppi.
The Honor Play 9A measures 159.07 x 74.06 x 9.04mm and weighs 185 grams. It comes in Night Black, Blue Water Emerald, and Jasper Green color options.
A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back. Other sensors on the device include an ambient light sensor, compass, and a proximity sensor.
