Intel forays into the education sector with 2-in-1 tablet cum Laptop in India

Intel India, has introduced first ever 2-in-1 tablet cum laptop for education sector in India. The all in one device is manufactured by Elitegroup Computer Systems.

Intel Education solution is powered by 1.8GHz Quad Core Intel Atom processor, which runs on latest version of Windows 8.1 OS. The other product specification includes a 10-inch screen (1366 x 768) pixel resolution, with an active touch screen and features 5-point touch. Along with a capacitive stylus, it supports the 7600 mAh battery last up to 7.8 hours of battery life as a tablet and additional 3-plus hours of battery life when docked.

The gives you a 1.26 megapixel VGA one front facing camera, and a 5 megapixel camera with 30x magnification lens for capturing moments on the go. On the connectivity it offers LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, along with 802.11a/b/g/n 2×2 WLAN, NFC, 3G and supporting WIDI.

The System input and outputs includes,  a microSD card slot, a USB 3.0 port,an audio-microphone, a micro HDMI port and combo jack. The device also supports  Ambient Light sensor, G-sensor,E-compass, Gyroscope and GPS  as well as Integrated audio, a digital microphone,and stereo speaker,

Intel India has also unveiled the Classmate PC and Intel ECS TR10CD1 tablet. The Classmate PC features similar specification like Intel education solution where it also has 10-inch display, and runs on various version like Windows 7, Windows 8.1, or Linux. On the other hand, Intel ECS TR10CD1 is a 10.1 inch which runs on Jelly Bean Android  tablet, having Intel Atom Z2520 processor along with 1GB and 2GB of RAM.It is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core.

The much talk about feature of the device is its performance as a laptop and the mobility offered as a tablet.

Both the products are water and dust resistance, and also non breakable.
