Intex Aqua S2 With Fingerprint Scanner Launched At Rs. 4,490: Specifications & Features

Intex has launched its latest Aqua series smartphone- Intex Aqua S2. It is the cheapest smartphone till date with a fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, it packs a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731C processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the phone features a 5-inch FWVGA display with 854×480 pixels resolution.

The device houses 8GB of internal memory and supports expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD card. It sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. There is also a 5 mega pixel front shooter with LED flash and f/2.8 aperture. Camera features include Face Beauty Mode, Self Timer Smile shot and Zero Shutter Delay. It also supports GIF images.

Fueled by a 2450mAh battery, the company claims it to offer up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 110 hours of standby time. Connectivity options which the dual SIM handset offers include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It comes pre-loaded with several apps such as Daily Hunt, Newspoint, Opera Mini, Saavn, LFTY and Matrabhasha. The smartphone measures 146.4×73×9.65 mm and weight 153.8 grams. It lacks 4G support and packs entry level specifications. Though with a fingerprint scanner onboard, the Aqua S2 is already offering a lot.
