Intex has expanded its Aqua series of smartphones with the launch of Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+. Under the hood, the phone packs a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It features a 5-inch FWVGA TN display with 854×480 pixels resolution and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

The Aqua Strong 5.1+ houses 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. It supports expandable storage up to 64GB via microSD card. On the camera front, the phone sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash. There is also a 2 mega pixel front facing camera onboard. Fueled by a 2000mAh battery, the device offers 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. It measures 143.1×72.1×10.1 mm and weighs 150.6 grams.
