The new lineup of Z-series smartphones (touted to be made in India) include the Lava Z1, Lava Z2, Lava Z4, and Lava Z6.

The Lava Z1 is priced in India at Rs 5,499. It will be available from January 26 through Amazon, Lava e-store, and major offline retailers.

On the other hand, the Lava Z4 and Lava Z6 will be available at Rs 8,999 and Rs. 9,999, respectively. Whereas the Lava Z2 comes with a price tag of Rs 6,999. Sales will start on January 11.

Additionally, the company has launched a the Lava myZ customizable smartphone, the Lava Befit fitness band, and Lava Zup programme.

The dual-SIM smartphones are said to be the company’s first design-in-India smartphones.

The new smartphone comes in a military-grade build. It features a 5.0-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The Lava Z1 is powered by a MediaTek Helio A20 processor along with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It is backed by a 3,100mAh battery.

For photos and videos, the new handset phone also comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor and 2GB RAM. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card.

In terms of optics, the Lava Z2 sports a dual rear camera setup. It combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, and an LED flash.

For selfies and video calling, the new handset features an 8-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging.

The Lava Z2 runs Android 10 (Go edition) OS. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a Micro-USB port.

The smartphone comes with a military-grade certification. The 6.5-inch IPS display comes with HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and a waterdrop-style notch.
