Price and Availability

The Lenovo ‘Project Limitless’ 5G laptop was showcased at the ongoing Computex 2019 trade show in Taipei. However, it is only a prototype at this point.

The commercial variant is expected to be available sometime next year. Qualcomm had earlier stated that the devices based on the Snapdragon 8cx will begin shipping in late 2019.

The Lenovo ‘Project Limitless’ 5G laptop is powered by the Snapdragon 8cx 5G platform (touted as the world’s first 7nm platform for PCs designed to include 5G connectivity), the company’s 2nd-generation X55 5G modem as well as Cat 22 LTE.

The Snapdragon 8cx uses eight Qualcomm Kryo 495 CPU cores and an Adreno 680 GPU. It can drive two 4K HDR displays and also supports Quick Charge 4+ technology. The ‘Project Limitless’ laptop will also bring enterprise-grade security.
