Price and Availability

The LG Gram 17 laptop (model number 17Z990-V) is priced in India at Rs 1,26,000. It will be available on Amazon India from next week onwards.

While the LG Gram 15 (model number 15Z990-V) is priced at Rs 98,000, the LG Gram 14 (model number 14Z990-V) costs at Rs 95,000.

The new laptop is powered by an 8th-generation Intel Core processor along with Intel UHD graphics, up to 16GB DDR4 RAM, and a 256GB solid-state drive (SSD). The storage can be expanded via an extra slot for an additional SSD (up to 256GB).

The LG Gram 17 sports a 17-inch IPS sRGB display with WQXVGA (2560 x 1600 pixels) resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It measures 380.6 x 265.7 x 17.4mm and weighs 1,340 grams.

The new notebook is one of the lightest 17-inch laptops in the market. It was awarded to be the world’s lightest laptop in its category by Guinness World Records in February 2019.

The LG Gram 17 complies with US military MIL-STD-810G durability criteria (includes seven resilience factors including shock, dust, extreme temperatures, etc). Other features include a Precision Glass Touchpad, a backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader, dual mic, and DTS Headphone X audio support.

The new notebook is backed by a 72Whr battery that offers huge 19.5 hours of battery life on a single charge. Connectivity options include a USB Type-C (v3.1) port, 3x USB 3.1 ports, an HDMI port, HP/ Mic Out combo, and a microSD card slot.

The new laptop comes with a 15.6-inch display and weighs only 1,099 grams. It comes with a battery back up of 21.5 hours.

The LG Gram 15 is powered by the newest 8th Generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM, and 256GB SSD storage.

The new laptop sports a 14.0-inch display and weighs just 995 grams. It comes with a battery backup of 21.5 hours.

The LG Gram 14 is powered by the 8th Generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM, and 256GB SSD storage.

Conclusion

The South Korean giant is best known for its TVs and smartphones. With the new Gram lineup, it is expanding into a super-lightweight laptops segment.
