Moto Z4 Launched With 48MP Camera, Snapdragon 675 SoC, Moto Mods Support

Price and Availability

Price $499 (approx Rs 34,900)

The Moto Z4 is priced in the US at $499 (approx Rs 34,900). Sales will begin on June 6.

The new 5G Moto Mod is priced at $349.99 (approx Rs 24,500). It is available for Verizon customers at $199.99 (approx Rs 14,000). The Moto 360 Camera Mod will be bundled for unlocked models at the same price.

As of now, there is no confirmation about the Indian price tag. It is expected to arrive in the coming months via Amazon.in.

The new handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor and 4GB RAM. The 128GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 2TB).

The 3,600mAh battery offers up to 2 days of backup. It supports the company’s 15W TurboPower fast charging technology. A Turbo fast charger is included in the box.

Camera

In terms of optics, the Moto Z4 sports a single 48-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, 1.6-microns pixel size, and correlated temperature (CCT) dual-LED flash.

The camera produces 12-megapixel images. It uses both PDAF (phase detection autofocus system) and laser autofocus.

For selfies and video calling, the Moto Z4 features a 25-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 0.9-micron pixel size.

The Moto Z4 runs Android 9 Pie operating system. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

The single-SIM smartphone sports a 6.4-inch OLED display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The company might launch a dual-SIM variant in India and China.

In terms of dimensions, the Moto Z4 measures 158 x 75 x 7.35mm and weighs 165 grams. It comes in Flash Grey and Frost White color options.

The highlight of the device is an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. Other sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.
