The Nokia 5.3 was recently announced with a starting price of 189 Euros (approx Rs 15,079). It comes in Cyan, Sand, and Charcoal color options.

Now, the new smartphone is available in India at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage model costs R. 15,499.

The Nokia 5.3 will be available for pre-order from today. Sales will start in the country on September 1.

As part of launch offers, customers will get Rs 2,000 instant cashback and Rs 2,000 worth of vouchers from partners. You can also get benefits worth Rs 4,000 from Jio on its Rs. 349 prepaid recharge plan.

The Nokia 5.3 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor (11nm) along with Adreno 610 GPU and 4GB/ 6GB RAM.

The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card (up to 512GB). The 4000mAh battery (with 10W charging) is touted to offer 2-day battery life.


On the back, the new handset sports a quad-camera set up with a 13MP primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture), a 5MP wide-angle lens, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro lens.

For selfies and video calling, the Nokia 5.3 sports an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It is housed in a waterdrop notch.

The Nokia 5.3 runs the Android 10 operating system (part of the Android One program). It comes with a dedicated Google Assistant button.

Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, FM radio. and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 6.55-inch 2.5D curved glass display with HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

In terms of dimensions, the Nokia 5.3 measures 164.3 x 76.6 x 8.5mm and weighs 185g. It features a tough polymer 3D frame with scratch-resistant coating.

The rear panel is sculpted out of advanced composite materials and inner nano texture. A fingerprint sensor is placed at the back.
