The Poco X2 is priced in India at Rs 15,999 for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. Sales will start on February 11.

While the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model costs Rs 16,999, the 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant comes with a price tag of Rs 19,999.

The new smartphone comes in Atlantis Blue, Matrix Purple, and Phoenix Red color options.

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor along with Adreno 618 GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 2.1 internal storage.

To boost graphics, the Poco X2 comes with a second-generation Game Turbo mode. There is also a proprietary LiquidCool technology that is said to offer a 300 percent faster heat transfer.

The new handset is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 27W fast charging support (offers 100 percent charge in 68 minutes). It ships with a bundled 27W charger.

Cameras

On the back, the Poco X2 sports a quad-camera setup with a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor (f/1.89 aperture).

Additionally, the camera module comes with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens (120-degree field-of-view, f/2.2)a 2MP macro lens (f/2.4). and a 2MP depth sensor.

Camera features include 4K video capture, 960fps Slow-mo video recording, and VLOG mode.

Poco X2

For selfies and video calling, the new smartphone sports a dual-camera setup at the front. It combines a 20MP primary sensor with a 2MP secondary sensor.

Camera features include a Panorama Selfie Mode, AI Face Distortion Correction, AI Beautify, AI Portrait Mode, and Movie Movie.

The Poco X2 runs the Android 10 operating system with MIUI 11 on top. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The gaming focussed handset features a 6.67-inch RealityFlow 120Hz display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

The LCD display panel comes with an ‘Intelligent Dynamic Refresh Rate’ technology that is touted to dynamically adjust the refresh rate for enhanced results.

The Poco X2 also sports a 3D curved back design with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the side.

Conclusion

Xiaomi announced the first Poco smartphone in August 2018. However, the brand is now a standalone smartphone company in India.

The Poco X2 seems like a rebranded variant of the Redmi K30 4G smartphone (launched in China last year).
