Amazon Prime Video Mobile Edition Launched In India – All You Need To Know

The Amazon Prime Video Mobile Edition is now available in India. The e-commerce platform has partnered with Airtel for the first roll-out.

The company claims that the single-user mobile-only plan has been created for a mobile-first country like India. It will offer high-quality entertainment to hundreds of millions of Airtel customers.

The 30-day free trial of Prime Video Mobile Edition will be available to all Airtel customers on pre-paid bundled packs get. You can simply sign up to Amazon from the Airtel Thanks app using your mobile number.

After the trial period, you can activate Mobile Edition through recharge bundles starting at an introductory offer of Rs 89 (offers 28-days of Prime Video Mobile Edition with 6GB data).

The Rs 299 pack will provide 28-day validity with Prime Video Mobile Edition, unlimited calls, and data access of 1.5 GB per day.

Additionally, you can recharge with Rs 131 for a 30-day Amazon Prime membership. RS 349 pack offers 28-day validity (Amazon Prime membership, unlimited calling, data access of 2 GB per day).

The complete Prime Video experience includes multi-user access, ad-free music with Prime Music, free fast delivery on Amazon.in, Prime Reading and other Prime benefits.

You can also stream across devices (including Smart TV) and enjoy the content in HD/UHD.

India is the first country to get the mobile-only Prime Video plan. The single-user mobile-only plan will offer SD quality streaming to customers.

The first roll-out will be done in collaboration with Bharti Airtel (Airtel). The recharges will be available on the Airtel Thanks app and company’s over a million recharge points.
