The Realme Q is priced in China at CNY 998 (approx Rs 10,000) for the base 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. The 6GBRAM/ 64GB storage and 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage models cost CNY 1,198 (approx Rs 12,000) and CNY 1,298 (approx Rs 15,000), respectively.

The new handset comes in Light Green and Light Blue color options. Sales start from September 9 via the company’s official website, JingDong Mall, Suning, and TMall.

The Realme Q is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor and 4GB/ 6GB/ 8GB RAM. The 64GB/ 128GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB). The 4,035mAh battery comes with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.

The new handset sports a quad-camera setup on the back. It uses a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor (PDAF, f/1.8 aperture), an 8MP secondary sensor (f/2.25 aperture, 119-degree wide-angle lens), a 2MP macro lens (f/2.4 aperture, 4cm focus distance), and a 2MP portrait lens (f/2.4 aperture).

Camera features also include electronic image stabilization (EIS). For selfies and video calling, the new smartphone sports a 16-megapixel front camera with 4-in-1 pixel tech and an f/2.0 aperture.

The Realme Q sports a 6.3-inch display with Full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection. It measures 157 x 74.2 x 8.9mm and weighs 184 grams. The new smartphone also comes with splash resistance (saves from rain or liquid splash).

Conclusion

Additionally, the Realme XT is expected to be launched by the end of next month. It is being touted to be a ‘complete expert’ in its price segment. The upcoming handset is tipped to sport a quad-camera set up on the back (with a 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor).

The new sensor produces sharp and bright 16-megapixel images in low-light conditions. It merges four pixels into one using an in-house Tetracell technology.
