The Redmi 9 Power is priced in India at Rs 10,999 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage model costs Rs 11,999.
The new 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model comes with a price tag of Rs 12,999. It will be available via channels including Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Homes, and Mi Studios.

The Redmi 9 Power is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor along with Adreno 610 GPU and 4GB LPDDR4X RAM. The UFS 2.2 storage is expandable via a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 512GB).
The new handset is backed by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging and reverse wired charging. It also comes an Enhanced Lifespan Battery (ELB) technology.

On the back, the Redmi 9 Power sports quad-camera setup. It uses a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
For selfies and video calling, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel front camera. It supports artificial intelligence (AI) Face Unlock.

The Redmi 9 Power runs on Android 10 OS with MIUI 12 on top. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR) blaster, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone also comes with Widevine L1 certification to support HD Web streaming through platforms like Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. It also sports Hi-Res Audio certified stereo speakers.
The 6.53-inch Dot Drop display comes with Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) resolution, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 400 nits of brightness, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
In terms of dimensions, the Redmi 9 Power measures 162.3 x 77.3 x 9.6mm and weighs 198 grams. It comes in Blazing Blue, Electric Green, Fiery Red, and Mighty Black color options.
Sensors on the device include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor.
