The Redmi Note 8 is priced in India at Rs 9,999 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model. The 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant costs Rs 12,999.
The new handset will be available on Amazon India, Mi.com, and Mi Home Stores. The first sale will take place on October 21 at 12 noon IST.
In China, the Redmi Note 8 is priced in China at CNY 999 (approx Rs 10,000) for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage and 6G/ 128GB storage variants cost CNY 1,199 (approx Rs 12,000) and CNY 1,399 (approx Rs 14,000), respectively.

The new smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor along with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB internal storage. The 4,000mAh battery comes with 18W fast charging support.
The quad-camera set up includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, and two 2-megapixel cameras. For selfies and video calling, the new handset sports a 13-megapixel front camera.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 comes Moonlight White, Neptune Blue, and Space Black options.
The 6.39-inch display comes with Full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a waterdrop-shaped notch. It includes Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both front and back.
The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone runs the Android 9 Pie operating system with MIUI 10 on top. Other features include a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and an IR blaster.
