Samsung Galaxy A7 Launched In India: Price, Specs, Features & Hands On Video

Samsung Galaxy A7 which was unveiled last month has now reached Indian shores. The Galaxy A7 has now been launched in India at Rs. 30,400. Apart from fairly good specs, the smartphone features a premium metal design and looks elegant aesthetically. Samsung had also launched several A series and E series phones namely, Samsung Galaxy A3, A5, E5 and E7 in India earlier in January 2015. With just 6.3 mm thickness, Galaxy A7 is the slimmest phone launched by the company till date. It flaunts it metal cladding just like its elder A and E series siblings. As far as specifications of Indian Samsung Galaxy A7 variant are concerned, it is powered by 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor (four 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 cores and four 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 cores) accompanied with 2 GB of RAM. Internationally, the Galaxy A7 is also available with  Exynos 5430 + M7450 (Quad A15 1.8 GHz + Quad A7 1.3 GHz) processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. Rest of the specifications remains same as that of international variant mentioned below. It measures 151 x 76.2 x 6.3 mm, weighs 141 grams and is listed on Samsung’s online store in White, Black and Gold color options.

Samsung has launched its latest smartphone Samsung Galaxy A7, expanding its Galaxy series. The most awaited Galaxy A7 smartphone with metal unibody design is now available in Philippines. With just 6.3 mm thcickness, it is the slimmest phone in Samsung smartphone portfolio. Under the hood, this device will vary in terms of chipset used depending on the markets. It will either be powered by  MSM8x39 (Quad A53 1.5 GHz + Quad A53 1.0 GHz) processor or Exynos 5430 + M7450 (Quad A15 1.8 GHz + Quad A7 1.3 GHz) processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM.

Running on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 5.5 inch HD sAMOLED display. On storage front, it entails 16 GB of in-built storage which is expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card. Coming to the photography front, it sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with auto focus and LED flash while it also sports a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. The camera features on this smartphone include Wide Selfie, Rear-cam Selfie and Beauty Face. It packs a 2600 mAh battery with Ultra Power saving mode. The connectivity options on this device include 4 G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, A-GPS+GLONASS, NFC while it also comes equipped with Accelerometer, Proximity, Geomagnetic, RGB, Hall and Light sensors. Th dimensions of this smartphone are 151 x 76.2 x 6.3 mm and it weighs 141 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 is available at major retail stores across country as well as Samsung India’s online store with a price tag of Rs, 30,499.
