Samsung has made its most anticipated smartphone Samsung Galaxy J1 official now. The Samsung J1 smartphone, dubbed as SM-J100H, has been listed on Samsung’s Malaysian website. This sleek and stylish device comes with an interesting Palm Selfie feature for photography lovers. This feature can detect the movement of hand and allows the user to click a picture with hand gesture, which makes capturing fleeting moments even more easier. The dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy J1 smartphone is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core processor (unspecified chipset) coupled with 512 MB of RAM. It runs on Android operating system and features 4.3 inch WVGA TFT display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. On camera front, it sports a 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash while there is also a secondary 2 mega pixel front facing camera on board. Both the rear and front cameras feature CMOS sensors. In addition to the Palm Selfie feature for clicking selfies with hand gesture, it also comes with Tap to Take Pics feature which enables the users to click images by tapping anywhere on the screen without the need of pressing any particular button.
The Samsung J1 entails 4 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. It packs a 1850 mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 9 hours of Internet usage and 10 hours of talk time on 3G network. It comes with Ultra Power Saving mode for extended battery life.
