Micromax has expanded its Vdeo series of smartphones with the launch of Micromax Vdeo 5. The phone has been spotted listed online for Rs. 6,749. Under the hood, it packs a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor paired with Adreno 304 GPU. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and 267ppi pixel density. The screen is protected against scratches by Corning Gorilla glass.

The Vdeo 1 features a 4-inch WVGA IPS display and packs a 1600mAh battery while the Vdeo 2 comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display and 1800mAh battery.
