Alongside Mi 5s smartphone, Xiaomi has launched its Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus smartphone. Under the hood, it packs a 64-bit 2.35GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor paired with Adreno 530 GPU. The phone features a 5.7-inch Full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution.
On software front, the Mi 5S Plus runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system wrapped under MIUI 8. Based on RAM and storage, it comes in two variants- one with 4GB RAM+ 64GB storage while other variant packs 6GB RAM+128GB storage.
For photography buffs, it sports 13 mega pixel dual cameras on the rear with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, Sony IMX258 sensor and 4K video recording. There is also a 4 mega pixel front shooter with f/2.0 aperture for capturing selfies and making video calls. Fueled by a 3800mAh, it supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. Connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. It measures 154.6x 77.7×7.95 mm and weighs 168 grams. It will go on sale in China via flash sales on JD.com and Mi.com. It comes in Gold, Rose Gold, Silver and White color options.
