The Xiaomi Mi 9T will be launched in China on June 12. The company has already started teasing the upcoming handset. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.

According to a recent listing, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro comes with a 20MP pop-up selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup (48-megapixel primary sensor, f/1.8 aperture). It sports a 6.39-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass protection.

The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor along 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The 4,000mAh battery comes with Quick Charge 4.0 support. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 9 Pie operating system with MIUI on top. Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.

According to recent leaks and teasers, the Xiaomi Mi 9T will feature a pop-up selfie camera. The rear panel will sport a triple camera set up (48MP primary sensor) with an LED flash.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 is priced in China at CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 31,800) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. Whereas the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage model costs CNY 3,299 (approx Rs 34,900).

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor along with Adreno 640 GPU, 6GB/ 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB UFS2.1+ storage.

In terms of optics, the Xiaomi Mi 9 sports a triple camera setup on the back. It combines a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor (1.0-micron pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, four-in-one 12-megapixel effective pixels) with a 16-megapixel Sony IMX481 secondary sensor (f/2.2 aperture, 117-degrees field-of-view) and a 12-megapixel tertiary sensor (f/2.2 aperture).

For selfies and video calling, the handset sports a 20-megapixel front camera. The 3,300mAh battery supports 20W wireless charging and 27W wired fast charging support.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 runs Android 9.0 Pie operating system with MIUI 10 on top. It comes with a dedicated AI button for Google Assistant.

The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.39-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection, and 600 nits of brightness. It features a waterdrop-style notch and 90.7 percent screen-to-body ratio with a thickness of 7.61mm.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 comes preloaded with features like a screen dimming optimization, reading mode 2.0, high brightness mode, and a Sunlight mode 2.0. The camera also has a Moon mode and comes with an optimized experience for TikTok users.

Additional highlights include a multi-functional NFC chip, dual-frequency GPS, 5th-gen in-display fingerprint sensor, Always-On color display, an IR blaster, and a Smart Antenna feature. It also comes with an on-screen ambient light sensor and an ultrasonic proximity sensor.
