The Essential Phone is now available at a price tag of $499 (approx Rs 32,500). It was initially priced at $699 (approx Rs 45,500). The new price is only available as a limited time offer. Essential Phone

The Essential Phone was launched in May this year. It sports a 5.71-inch display with a resolution of 1312 x 2560pixels. The Android handset is powered by a 1.9GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB RAM. Unfortunately, the 128GB internal storage cannot be expanded.

In terms of optics, the Essential Phone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 3040mAh non-removable battery. The single SIM smartphone includes Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, 3G and 4G as connectivity options.

Sensors on the device include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope, and Barometer. It measures 141.50 x 71.10 x 7.8mm and weighs 185 grams.
