The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is priced at Rs 9,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB internal storage variant. The 4GB/ 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 11,999. The company is also offering an ultra-slim case with the new handset.

The Redmi Note 5 features a 5.99-inch display with Full HD+ resolution (2160 x 1080 pixels), Corning Gorilla Glass and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor (it was rumored to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC or Snapdragon 636 SoC). The internal storage can be further expanded via micro SD card (up to 128GB).

On the camera front, the Redmi Note 5 features a 12-megapixel rear camera with 1.25um pixel size and a 5-megapixel front camera. Both cameras come with LED flash. It is backed by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

The Redmi Note 5 comes in multiple color options – black, blue, gold and rose gold. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back. While the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass coating, a dual pyrolytic graphite sheet keeps the phone cool during heavy usage.
