Videocon Mobile Services And Nokia Siemens Network To Bring 4G Services Pan-India

This agreement was happened between these companies at the Mobile World Conference at Barcelona.Videocon Mobile Services represented by Mr. Arvind Bali, Director & CEO, Mr. S. Krishnan, Director & Group CTO, and Mr. Illangovan G, Director & CFO, have had an in-principle agreement with Mr. Sandeep Girotra, Head of India Region, Nokia Siemens Networks, to tie up for Videocon’s 4G Network Rollout.

Mr. Arvind Bali, Director and CEO, Videocon Mobile Services commented, “We intend to engage Nokia Siemens Networks as our Technology partner for our 4G Network Rollout in the country.

“We will be pleased to partner with Videocon Mobile Services to launch 4G LTE services in India in order to further drive mobile broadband usage and bring superior experience to consumers.”said Sandeep Girotra, Head of India Region, Nokia Siemens Networks.

Nokia Siemens Network is a joint venture between Siemens Communications division and Nokia’s Network Business Group. It is a multinational data networking company that makes telecommunication equipments. It is the world’s 4th-largest telecom equipment manufacturer measured by 2011 revenues. Nokia Siemens Networks operates in more than 150 countries worldwide and has about 73,000 employees. It has more than 1400 customers in more than 150 countries. In 2010 Nokia Siemens Network becomes worlds largest telecommunication equipment maker in terms of revenue.

Videocon Mobile Services was launched by Videocon group. And then it becomes India’s  fastest growing telecommunications service provider. And within a year it gains over 9 million subscribers.
