The Infinix Smart 5 comes in three color options – Ice Blue, Midnight Black, and Quetzal Cyan. However, the company has not revealed the Indian price or launch date.
Notably, the company has launched a 3G variant for Nigeria, which is slightly different from the global variant. It is listed on the company’s Nigerian website with a price tag of NGN 39,500 (approx Rs 7,800).

The new smartphone is powered by a 1.8GHz processor (unspecified) and 3GB RAM. The Nigerian variant comes with a 1.3GHz CPU and 2GB RAM.
While the global variant comes with 64GB internal storage (expandable via a micro SD card up to 256GB), the Nigerian model comes with 32GB storage (expandable up to 128GB).
In terms of optics, the Infinix Smart 5 sports a triple camera set up on the back. It combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor with two QVGA sensors.
The Nigerian variant comes with a dual-camera setup on the back. It is equipped with an 8-megapixel primary sensor and a QVGA sensor.
For selfies and video calling, the new handset features an 8MP front camera. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. It is touted to last up to four days.

The Infinix Smart 5 runs on Android 10 (Go edition) with XOS 6 on top. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Micro-USB port.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.6-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels. There is also a small notch for the selfie camera.
In terms of dimensions, the Infinix Smart 5 measures 165.4 x 73.4 x 8.75mm. Sensors on the device include an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and a fingerprint scanner.
