The new laptop is powered by a 4.50GHz quad-core Intel Core i5-1155G7 processor along with Intel Iris Xe graphics, 8GB DDR4 RAM, and 512GB NVMe SSD storage. It supports up to 12GB of RAM.
The Acer Aspire Vero is backed by a 3-cell 48Whr battery that supports 65W charging via the AC adapter. It is said to offer 10 hours of battery life.

The Acer Aspire Vero runs Windows 11 Home edition operating system. It comes with Microsoft Office 2021 and a Windows Hello compatible fingerprint scanner.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, an HDMI port, USB 3.1 port, USB 3.2 port, USB Type-C port, USB 2.0 port, and Gigabit Ethernet support.

The new laptop is made from a 30 percent post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic that is said to cuts carbon emissions by 21 percent. The PCR plastic is also used on the screen bezel and on 50 percent of the keycaps.
In terms of dimensions, the Acer Aspire Vero measures 179 x 363 x 238mm and weighs 1.8kg. It comes in a single Volcano Gray color option. The 15.6-inch IPS LED-backlit TFT LCD display comes with full-HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) resolution.
Additional features on the laptop include a backlit keyboard and an HD (720p) webcam (which works with a hardware-based privacy switch).
