The Apple Watch Series 5 is priced at Rs 40,900 for the GPS model. The GPS + Cellular variant comes with a price tag of Rs 49,000.
The company has also dropped the price of Apple Watch Series 3. The GPS model now comes at Rs 20,900. Whereas the GPS + Cellular is now priced at Rs 29,900.

The Apple Watch Series 5 sports an always-on Retina display with LTPO OLED technology. It comes with a dynamic refresh rate (between 60Hz and 1Hz) and a peak brightness of 1000 nits.
The company states the users will be able to see the smartwatch display even without lifting their wrists. While the 44mm display has a resolution of 368 x 448 pixels, the 40mm display comes with a resolution of 324×394 pixels.
The Apple Watch Series 5 features a ceramic and sapphire crystal back finish. All variants are 10.7mm thick and feature a digital crown with haptic feedback.
The smartwatch case has been built using 100 percent recycled aluminum. Apple is also offering a titanium case option for the first time.
“Apple is introducing a new case material made of titanium, a prized material in watchmaking that has superb strength-to-weight ratio and is lighter than stainless steel. Available in two beautiful brushed finishes, the natural titanium has a custom-engineered surface which helps maintain its color and resist staining, while space black titanium achieves its deep colour from a diamond-like coating (DLC),” the company said in a statement.

The Apple Watch Series 5 is powered by new Apple 64-bit dual-core S5 processor. It also comes with a W3 wireless chip. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, and GPS/ GLONASS/ Galileo/ QZSS.
Apple claims that the new smartwatch delivers up to 18 hours of battery life. It comes with 32GB internal storage.
An International Emergency Calling feature lets you place an emergency call in a foreign country. There is also an electrical heart rate sensor for the ECG app and a built-in compass for the new Compass app.
Additional features include a second-generation optical sensor, a barometric altimeter, an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and fall detection.
