Asus launched its Asus Zenfone 2 Laser smartphone in India in August 2015 for Rs. 9,999. As the name suggests, the highlight of this phone is its laser auto focus system.  But is that all what is required by buyers in market nowadays? Does is offer seamless performance? Is is worth buying?

The Zenfone 2 Laser takes its design cues from the Zenfone 2 smartphone. The rear of the phone is slightly curved for better grip. The phone hands comfortable while holding in hand.

On the front, there is a 5.5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. The color quality, viewing angles, sunlight legibility and brightness of the screen is good. The Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protects it against scratches.

Above the display, there is earpiece, 5 mega pixel front facing camera, sensor and LED indicator.

As for performance, the device is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 paired with 2GB of RAM. It gets slightly heated up while playing heavy games. Backed up by a 3000mAh battery, the device can survive for up to one day on moderate usage.

If your primary use is not gaming and you are looking a smartphone in sub-Rs. 10,000 price range with best rear camera then Zenfone 2 Laser is worth putting your bet on.
