With features like bezel-less display and ultrasonic proximity sensor, the Xiaomi Mi Mix became the cynosure of all the eyes at company’s event in China last month. Now Xiaomi seems to be working on a smaller variant of the phone, called the Xiaomi Mi Mix Nano. A leak has recently started doing rounds over the internet, hinting at a smaller variant of the Mi Mix in the pipeline.
IoT startup OKWU has launched its first smartphone, called the OKWU Pi in the Indian market along with a U-Tag. The smartphone packs a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor paired with Mali-T720 GPU. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, it features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution.
Alongside X9 and X9 Plus, Vivo has also launched its Vivo Xplay 6 smartphone in China. It succeeds the Xplay 5 and comes with top of the line specifications. Under the hood, the Xplay 6 packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with Adreno 530 GPU. It features a 5.46-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED dual curved edge display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution.
At an event in China, Vivo has launched its latest flagship smartphones, called the Vivo X9 and X9 Plus. The main highlight of the smartphones is that they feature dual camera set up on the front. Both devices sport 20 mega pixel and 8 mega pixel front facing cameras. There is also a 16 mega pixel rear camera onboard.
Reliance has introduced yet another smartphones in its Lyf brand, called the Reliance Lyf Wind 7i. Under the hood, the smartphone packs a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor paired with Adreno 304 GPU. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, it features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720p resolution. The screen is protected against scratches by AGC glass.
Acer has launched a new laptop in the Indian market, called the Acer Swift 7. Measuring just 9.98mm (thinner than 1 centimetre) in thickness, it is touted a ‘world’s thinnest laptop’. As for specifications, the base model of the laptop features a 13.3-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. The screen is protected against scratches by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Gionee has launched its camera focused smartphone, called the Gionee S9, in China. The main highlight of the phone is that it comes with a dual camera set up on the rear. It sports a 13 mega pixel camera and a 5 mega pixel camera on the back. The dual camera set up on the back is accompanied by dual-tone LED flash. There is also a 13 mega pixel front shooter onboard.
