Alcatel OneTouch POP 8S Tablet Launched In India For Rs. 10,499: Specifications & Features

Alcatel has entered into the Indian tablet market with the launch of Alcatel OneTouch POP 8S tablet. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features an 8-inch WXGA IPS display with 1280×800 pixels resolution. It houses 8GB inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 64GB using microSD card.

The OneTouch POP 8S tablet sports a 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera and a 3 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 4060mAh battery, it offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Micro-USB as connectivity options.

Intex has launched a new smartphone- Intex Aqua Turbo4G in its Aqua series. It is powered by a 1.0GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, it features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution.

There is 8GB of inbuilt storage onboard which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. It sports a 5 mega pixel camera on the rear and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 3000mAh battery, it measures 144.5×72.5×8.9mm in dimensions. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Celkon has expanded its Millennia series with the launch of Celkon Millennia 2GB Xpress smartphone. Under the good, the smartphone is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 2GB of RAM. The device features a 4.5-inch IPS OGS display with 800×480 pixels resolution and runs Android 4.4 KitKat operating system which is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

There is 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. The Millennia 2GB Xpress sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera and a 1.3 mega pixel front facing camera. Nokia 222 And Nokia 222 Dual SIM Feature Phones Announced

Microsoft has announced its two new features phones, dubbed Nokia 222 and Nokia 222 Dual SIM. The handsets succeed Nokia 220 and Nokia 220 Dual SIM feature phones which were launched last year in 2014.

Both Nokia 222 and Nokia 222 Dual SIM feature phones share identical set of specifications except that the latter comes with dual SIM support as opposed to single SIM support of the former. Both handsets sport a 2.4-inch QVGA LCD display with 320×240 pixels resolution and 166ppi pixel density. There is a 2 mega pixel fixed focus camera on the rear. The devices support expandable storage up to 32GB using microSD card. On software front, they run Nokia Series 30+ operating system.
