Bingo Technologies has launched its Bingo M2 Smart Band in India. The wearable is made with Plastic ABS and TPS elastomer that provide protection against UV radiation and prevent abrasion and sweat. It is IP67 certified for resistance against water. It is compatible with devices running Android and iOS with Bluetooth 4.0 and below connectivity.
Micromax has introduced a new Vdeo series of budget smartphones with the launch of Micromax Vdeo 1 and Vdeo 2. Both smartphones pack entry level specs and support 4G VoLTE. The Vdeo 1 features a 4-inch WVGA IPS display and packs a 1600mAh battery while the Vdeo 2 comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display and 1800mAh battery.
Meizu has expanded its Note series of smartphones with the launch of Meizu m5 Note smartphone in China. The smartphone packs an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor paired with Mali-T860 GPU. On software front, it runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. The phone features a 5.5-inch full HD 2.5D curved glass display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution.
Lenovo has launched its Lenovo Phab 2 smartphone in India. As the name suggests, it is a toned down variant of the Phab 2 Plus that was launched last month, in November 2016. Under the hood, the phablet packs a quad-core MediaTek MT8735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, it features a 6.4-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution.
Targeting the music lovers, Amkette has launched its Amkette S-50 smart speakers in the Indian market. The S-50 speaker lets you play music from an auxiliary port, USB drive and a microSD card. It is a multi-connected device that can also be controlled with smartphones. All you would need to do is download the app from Google Play store. The Android app lets users control various speaker functions such as FM radio, USB/SD card playback and alarm clock using their smartphone.

US-based smartphone maker InFocus is soon going to launch a new Aadhar-enabled iris smartphone in India. InFocus’s upcoming smartphone is a variant of InFocus Bingo 20 and will support Aadhaar authentication using the iris scanner. InFocus has been awarded STQC (Standardization Testing & Quality Certification) from the government of India for its Aadhaar-enabled iris smartphone and the upcoming smartphone will allow access to all e-governance services that work on the Aadhaar platform. The company also plans to bring more devices with Aadhaar-based biometric authentication in the future.
