Price Rs 70,999

The new Fujifilm X-E3 is priced at Rs 70,999 for body only. A camera kit with 18-55mm f/2.8-4 lens is priced at Rs 1,02,999. Whereas the XF23mm f/2.0 kit comes at a price tag of Rs 89,999. It is now available to buy in India.

Specifications

The Fujifilm X-E3 features a 24.3-megapixel X-Trans III sensor, similar to other X-models like the X-Pro2. It is powered by an X Processor Pro high-speed image processing engine. The X-E3 also comes with a 325-point autofocus system. The subject tracking is improved with a new image recognition algorithm.

Fujifilm claims that the new mirrorless camera delivers best-in-class color reproduction on both stills and video. The new camera lets you record videos at 4K resolution at 30fps.

In terms of design, the Fujifilm X-E3 looks similar to its predecessors. However, the mid-range mirrorless camera is the company’s smallest viewfinder-equipped camera. It features the same 2.36-million dot touchscreen display. You can use the 3-inch touchscreen to control focus and access menu settings. It also enables various gesture controls like flick and pinch zoom.

The Fujifilm X-E3 is the first X Series model to feature Bluetooth connectivity. It allows you to pair the camera with a smartphone to transfer pictures on-the-go. Additionally, you can output video via the HDMI port. Other features include a microphone input, new front control wheel, and a rear, joystick-like lever to control the focus region. It comes in Black and Silver color options.

Conclusion

The Fujifilm X-E3 mirrorless camera is a nice improvement over its predecessor. It offers decent capabilities in a compact form. However, seasoned photographers might miss the physical buttons for controlling ISO and exposure modes. Also, there’s no port for the headphone. The company is offering some cool accessories like a leather case )with a matching leather shoulder strap and protective cloth) and a Hand Grip.
