The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is expected to be launched on February 11 at the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event.

Sales are tipped to start from March 13. It is said to be priced at EUR 1,300 (approx Rs 1,02,500).

Recent leaks suggest that the upcoming smartphones will come with 12GB and 16GB RAM options. The 128GB/ 256GB/ 512GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card slot (up to 1TB).

The huge 5,000mAh battery will offer fast charging support. Users will be able to charge the new handset from zero to 100 percent in just 74 minutes.

In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is tipped to sport a 108MP in-house ISOCELL sensor. It will be accompanied by a 48MP telephoto lens (with 10x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom), a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor.

For selfies and video calling, the handset will sport a 40MP front camera with support for 4K 60fps video recording.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is said to sport a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display with WQHD+ (1440 x 3200 pixels) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Additional features will include an Exynos 990 SoC, IP68 certification, AKG-tuned Dolby Atmos speaker and Android 10 OS (with One UI 2.0 custom skin on top).

Samsung is expected to add three new devices in its Galaxy S20 series – Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 is tipped to sport a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor and two 12MP secondary sensors.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S20+ will feature a quad rear camera setup with an additional Time of Flight (ToF) sensor. More details are likely to emerge in the coming weeks.
