HTC Desire 728G Launched At Rs. 17,990: Specifications & Features

HTC has launched a new smartphone in the Desire series, called the HTC Desire 728G. The HTC Desire 728 with 4G connectivity has already been launched in China in September 2015, now the company has launched the Desire 728G, 3G variant of the phone in India.

As for specifications, it is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM as opposed to 2GB of RAM of the China variant. On software front, it runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop operating system. The device features a 5.5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and houses 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.

For photography lovers, it sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 2800mAh battery, it measures 157.9×77.8×7.87mm and weighs 153 grams. The handset also features dual front speakers with Dolby audio.

The Desire 728G is a mid-ranged smartphone with decent specs. Lack of 4G connectivity support at this price range, however is a downside since there are many options available in the market that offer 4G support at lower prices.
