HTC launched its ‘U series’ smartphones- HTC U Ultra and U Play, in India, last month in February 2017. Now the U Ultra is available to buy in the country for Rs. 59,990. The U Ultra will go on sale in India in mid-March. The main highlight of the U Ultra is its 2.0-inch secondary display in addition to the 5.7-inch Quad HD main display, similar to what LG V20 packs. The U Ultra features a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super LCD 5 main display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution. The screen is protected against scratches by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. There is also a 2.0-inch secondary display with 1040×160 pixels resolution and 520ppi pixel density. It packs 4GB of RAM and comes in two storage variants- 64GB and 128GB. For photography buffs, the phone comes with 12 mega pixel Ultrapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, Laser AF, OIS and 4K video recording. For selfie lovers, the phone offers a 16 mega pixel front snapper.
Equipped with a 3000mAh battery, the device features a fingerprint sensor on the back for additional security. On aesthetics front, the smartphone flaunts its ‘liquid 3D’ design. It features glass finish on the front and back with a metal frame along the edges. The smartphone features HTC Sense Companion, a personal assistant that learns user’s daily patterns and offers enhanced user experience.
