The HTC U19e comes with a price tag of TWD 14,900 (approx Rs 33,000). It will go on sale this week. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.

On the other hand, the HTC Desire 19+ is priced at TWD 9,990 (approx Rs 22,100) and TWD 10,990 (approx Rs 24,300) for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage and 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variants, respectively. Sales start in July.

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor along with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage (expandable). It is backed by a 3,930mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging support.

In terms of optics, the HTC U19e sports a dual camera setup on the back. It includes a 12-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture) and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.6 aperture).

The dual camera set upon the front uses a 24-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor (for iris-recognition unlock feature).

Features

The HTC U19e runs Android 9 Pie operating system with HTC Sense on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port.

The dual-SIM features a 6.0-inch OLED display with full-HD+ resolution (1080 x 2160 pixels), 18:9 aspect ratio, HDR10 support, and Gorilla Glass protection. It measures 156.5×75.9x8mm and weighs 180 grams.

The new handset comes in Extraordinary Purple (includes partly transparent back that shows the internals of the device) and Modest Green color options. Additional features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and HTC BoomSound dual speakers.

The new smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 processor and up to 6GB RAM. It is backed by a 3,850mAh battery. The HTC Desire 19+ runs Android 9 Pie operating system with HTC Sense on top.

In terms of optics, the Desire 19+ sports a triple rear camera setup on the back. It uses a 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.85 aperture), an 8-megapixel secondary sensor (wide-angle lens), and a 5-megapixel depth camera. For selfies and video calling, there is a 16-megapixel front camera on the device.

The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 6.2-inch display with HD+ resolution (720 x 1520 pixels) and 19:9 aspect ratio. It comes in two color options – Star Indigo and Jasmine White. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.
