The Huawei Nova 5i Pro is priced in China at CNY 2,199 (approx Rs 22,000) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage model comes with a price tag of CNY 2,499 (approx Rs 25,000).

A high-end variant with 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage will be available at CNY 2,799 (approx Rs 28,000). Sales will start on August 2.

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core Kirin 810 processor along with 6GB/ 8GB RAM and 128GB/ 256GB internal storage. It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery.

In terms of optics, the Huawei Nova 5i Pro sports a quad-camera setup on the back. It combines a 48-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture) with an 8-megapixel secondary sensor (super-wide-angle lens), 2-megapixel tertiary sensor (macro lens), and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Camera features include PDAF (phase-detection auto-focus system), HDR, night mode, portrait mode, and time-lapse.

For selfies and video calling, the smartphone sports a 32-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It supports AI beauty mode and an HDR feature.
