The Huawei Nova 5z is priced in China at CNY 1,599 (approx Rs 16,000) for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage model costs CNY 1,799 (approx Rs 18,000).

The Huawei Nova 5z is powered by a 7nm octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 810 processor. It is touted to deliver 80 percent improved CPU performance over the previous Kirin chipset.

The new handset comes preloaded with Huawei’s Ark Compiler to enhance app performance. It also comes with up to 8GB RAM.

The 128GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB). The 4,000mAh battery supports standard 10v/2A charging.

Cameras

On the back, the Huawei Nova 5z sports a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture) and an 8MP wide-angle lens. It also uses two 2MP sensors for macro photography and depth sensing.
