The Huawei P40 Lite is priced in Spain at EUR 299 (approx Rs 23,378) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. Pre-orders will start from March 2.

The new handset comes in Midnight Black, Sakura Pink, and Crush Green color options. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.

The Huawei P40 series is expected to be launched on March 26. The Huawei P40 Lite is essentially a rebranded version of the Huawei Nova 6 SE (introduced in December last year).

The Huawei P40 Lite is powered by an octa-core Kirin 810 processor and up to 8GB RAM. The 128GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card.

In terms of optics, the new handset sports a quad-camera setup on the back. It combines a 48MP primary sensor with an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

For selfies and video calling, the Huawei P40 Lite sports a 24MP front camera. The 4,200mAh battery supports the proprietary 40W SuperCharge fast charging technology.

The Huawei P40 Lite runs the Android 10 operating system with EMUI skin on top. However, it uses the Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) core and not Google Mobile Services (GMS) core.

The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 6.4-inch display with Full-HD+ (1080 x 2310 pixels) resolution. It features a hole-punch design.

A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back. Connectivity options include 4G, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5 headphone jack.
