The Huawei Y7a is priced at MYR 799 (approx Rs 14,200) for the 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. A 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant will be available in the Latin American markets only.
The new handset comes in Blush Gold, Crush Green, and Midnight Black colour options. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price tag and launch date.
The Huawei Y7a is essentially a rebranded version of the Huawei P Smart 2021 that was launched last month at EUR 229 (approx Rs 20,000).

The new smartphone is powered by a Kirin 710A processor and 4GB RAM. The 64GB/ 128GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB).
In terms of optics, the Huawei P Smart 2021 sports a quad camera setup on the back. It uses a 48MP primary camera (f/1.8 aperture), an 8MP ultra-wide camera (f/2.4), a 2MP macro camera (f/2.4), and a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4).
For selfies and video calling, the handset comes with an 8MP front camera (f/2.0). It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 22.5W SuperCharge fast charging.

The Huawei P Smart 2021 runs Android 10 OS with EMUI 10.1 on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11n, GPS, GLONASS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
The new smartphone features a 6.67-inch display with Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
In terms of dimensions, the Huawei P Smart 2021 measures 165.65 x 76.88 x 9.26mm and weighs 206 grams. It comes in Blush Gold, Crush Green, and Midnight Black color options.
