The new 5G smartphone comes with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G processor and packs a 5,00mAh battery.

The iQoo U3 also sports a dual rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. It comes in two color options and two RAM/ storage variants. Let’s take a closer look:

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G processor along with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

In terms of optics, the iQoo U3 sports a dual-camera setup on the back. It uses a 48-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.79 aperture) and a 2MP secondary sensor (f/2.4).

Camera features include Night scene, portrait, dynamic photo, and panorama. It is also capable of recording videos in 4K and supports 10x digital zoom.

For selfies and video calls, the iQoo U3 sports an 8-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W Dual Engine fast charging.

The iQoo U3 runs Android 10 OS with iQoo UI 1.5 on top. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C, and a 3.55mm headphone jack.

The dual-SIM (nano) smartphone features a 6.58-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels.

The iQoo U3 comes in in two color options – Glow Blue and Too Early Black. It measures 164.15 x 75.34 x 8.40mm and weighs 185.5 grams.

Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, a proximity sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Price and Availability

The iQoo U3 is priced in China at CNY 1,498 (approx Rs 16,800) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage model costs CYN 1,698 (approx Rs 19,100).

The smartphone is now available for pre-orders in China. Shippping will start on December 18. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price tag or launch date.

iQoo is a Vivo sub-brand in China. However, in India, it is positioned as an independent brand.
