The Lava O2 is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T616 processor along with 8GB RAM and up to 16GB virtual RAM. The 128GB UFS 2.2 storage can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB).

In terms of optics, the new handset sports an AI-backed dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an LED flash. For selfies and video calling, it sports an 8-megapixel front camera and a screen flash.

The Lava O2 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. It is touted to offer up to 38 hours of talk time and a standby time of up to 500 hours within a single charge.
