The Lava Z41 is priced in India at Rs 3,899. It will be available across the country via will 60,000 retail outlets.

As part of launch offers, customers will get Rs 1,200 instant cashback and 50GB additional data to Jio subscribers.

The new handset is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832E processor and 1GB RAM. The 16GB internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card (up to 128GB).

In terms of optics, the Lava Z41 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera (with LED flash) and a 2-megapixel front camera. Camera features include real-time bokeh, Beauty Mode, HDR Mode, Burst Mode, Audio note, Panorama, Night Shot, Smart Sleep, and nine-level filters.

The new smartphone is backed by a 2,500mAh battery. It is touted to provide 21 hours of talk time, 6 hours of web browsing time, 37 hours of audio playback, 6 hours of video playback, and 490 hours of standby time.

The Lava Z41 runs the Android 9 Pie (Go Edition) operating system with Star OS V5.0 lite skin on top. It also comes with pre-loaded data-saving apps like YouTube Go.

Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/AGPS, FM Radio, USB OTG, Micro USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The dual-SIM (Micro + Nano) smartphone sports a 5.0-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and a pixel density of 197ppi.

In terms of optics, the budget handset measures 143 x 73.5 x 10.35mm and weighs about 160 grams. It comes in two color options – Midnight Blue and Amber Red.
