The Lenovo Ideapad S540 features a 15.6-inch display with a full-HD resolution. It is powered by up to 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8565U processor, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB PCIe SSD for storage.
The highlight of the new laptop is the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card option. It is said to be twice as good as the GeForce GTX 950 and up to 70 percent better than the GeForce GTX 1050.
The new graphics card features 896 execution units called CUDA cores. It has a base clock speed of 1485MHz with a boost speed of 1665MHz. Additionally, the GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card features 4GB GDDR5 video memory on a 128-bit bus, with a total memory bandwidth of 128GBps.
There is also an integrated Intel graphics option. The new laptop variant offers up to 12 hours of battery life. It comes with dual-action fans and weighs starting at 1.8kg.
