The new laptop is powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13980HX processor along with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 with 16GB GDDR6 dedicated graphics memory, up to 64GB DDR5 RAM (5,600MHz frequency), and a maximum 2TB SSD M.2 storage.
The Lenovo Legion 9i is backed by a 99.99 Whr battery that comes with Rapid Charge technology. It allows users to go from 0 per cent to 70 per cent charge in just 30 minutes.
Additionally, the new laptop comes with a dedicated Lenovo LA-2 AI chip. For cooling, it comes pre-loaded with a self-contained liquid cooling system (co-engineered with Cooler Master) and an AI-tuned triple-fan air system.

The Lenovo Legion 9i runs on Windows 11 Home. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB Type-A port, RJ45 Ethernet, and an HDMI port.
The 16-inch Mini LED display comes with 3.2K(2,000 x 3,200 pixels) resolution, up to 165Hz variable refresh, 3ms response time, 1200nits of peak brightness, 100 per cent coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, Dolby Vision, and has DisplayHDR 1000 certification.
In terms of dimensions, the Lenovo Legion 9i measures 357.7 x 277.7 x 18.9mm and weighs 2.5 kilograms. It will be available in a Carbon Black colour finish.
Additional features on the Lenovo Legion 9i include a 1080p webcam with an electronic e-shutter, dual Harman Super Linear speaker units (2W audio output each), and a full-size keyboard with RGB lighting.
