Lenovo claims that the new laptops offer high-performance hardware in a stylish portable design. The company claims that it has taken feedback from gamers into account in the designing of new devices.
Both the Lenovo Legion Y740 and Legion Y540 come with the latest 9th Gen Intel Core CPUs and Nvidia GeForce RTX series GPUs options. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1.
The new laptops run Windows 10 Home OS (can be upgraded to Windows 10 Pro). There’s also an optional Dolby Vision with the Dolby Atmos Speaker sound enhancement.

The premium gaming laptop sports a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate option. It sports a grey anodized aluminum exterior with customizable RGB LED effects.
The Lenovo Legion Y740 is powered by up to a six-core 9th Gen Intel Core i7-9750H CPU along with up to 32GB RAM and Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 GPU with Max-Q optimization. Users can choose from multiple hard drive and SSD combination options. It comes with a 57Wh battery.
