Lenovo India yesterday on 17th December 2013 launched the first Vibe series smartphone in India in the premium segment along with K900. Lenovo Vibe X as they call it, is a very light weighted and sleek looking handset which was the first impression of all the bloggers present at the launch.
Apart from the weight and looks, the design of the device is also very comfortable and has a customised user interface to distinguish it from others.
The newly launched Lenovo Vibe X sports a 5-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and a pixel density of 440ppi, sitting under a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen. The phone is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK 6589T processor with 2GB of RAM, and offers 16GB of inbuilt storage. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and has an OTA updates app through which further software updates might arrive.
The Lenovo Vibe X features a 13-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with a back illuminated sensor and an LED flash. The phone also features a 5-megapixel front-facing camera that comes with a wide-angle 84 degree lens. Connectivity options includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AGPS and 3G. The Vibe X is backed by a 2,000mAh battery. The smartphone supports Micro-SIM, instead of regular SIM size. The Vibe X measures 144x74x6.9mm in dimensions, just 6.9mm thickness.

Lenovo Vibe X comes with it’s own custom user interface with some in-house built applications. Talking about the interface, Lenovo has kept it very simple with absolutely minimal complications. There is no app drawer everything is right on the screen and there is swipe to unlock feature.
Pricing and Availability
The Lenovo Vibe X has been launched in India for Rs. 25,999 and shall be available in stores by next week. The pre-orders of the device have already started and it can be booked from thedostore.com.
