The Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition will be launched in China on May 22. It is expected to come with a more affordable price tag than the Lenovo Z6 Pro. Sales will start on May 28. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.

According to recent leaks and rumors, the upcoming handset will feature thin bezels at the top and the sides. It is tipped to sport curved glass design (with 8 layers of nanoscale coating) and a waterdrop-shaped display notch. A fingerprint sensor will be placed on the back.

The Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition is tipped to come with a 4,050mAh battery and USB Type-C port. Additional features include 3.5mm headphone jack and Dolby ATMOS audio.

The display on the device comes with HDR 10 support. In terms of optics, the handset will include a triple camera setup on the back.

Conclusion

The Lenovo Z6 Pro is priced in China at CNY 2,899 (approx Rs 30,000) for the base model. The high-end variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage comes with a price tag of CNY 4,999 (approx Rs 51,000).

The Lenovo Z6 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor along with Adreno 640 GPU. It comes with a PC-grade Coldfront liquid cooling system for better heat dissipation and management.

In terms of optics, the smartphone sports an AI-powered quad-camera setup (with dual-LED flash) on the back. It uses a 48-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture), a 16-megapixel secondary sensor (wide-angle-lens), an 8-megapixel sensor (telephoto lens), and a 2-megapixel ToF (Time of Flight) sensor.

The 32-megapixel front camera supports the Face unlock feature. The 4,000mAh battery supports 27W fast charging and ‘reverse charging’. The Lenovo Z6 Pro runs ZUI 11 and comes with several software enhancements such as Game Turbo mode, U-Touch, and U Health.

The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with a waterdrop-shaped notch. It comes with support for DC dimming and HDR 10. The company claims that the in-display fingerprint sensor can even detect wet fingers.

In terms of design, the handset features 3D curved glass back. The Gorilla Glass protection has been added on the front and back. For audio, the smartphone supports Dolby Atmos, LDAC, AAC, and aptX HD audio codecs.
